Fire at 19a Bridge Street

The fire was discovered by Police Constable Davis who alerted his sergeant, Sgt Martin.

Together they tackled the fire and called the Brigade.

Damage was relatively slight and the premises soon made safe.

The name of the shop is not recorded, there will be a further reference to this address see 16th September.
